10 Plays–Tíu leikrit

Guttormur J. Guttormsson (1878‒1966, the Poet of New Iceland, was a son of Icelandic immigrants, and born at Víðivellir, a farm near Riverton, Manitoba. Like other major Icelandic-Canadian poets and writers during the first half of the twentieth century, Guttormur only wrote in Icelandic. His Tíu leikrit was originally published in 1930 in Reykjavík, Iceland. This is the first reprinting of the original publication, and the first English translation of the plays.
